We wanted to explore some of the UNESCO heritage sites and forts in India. And being heritage lovers, Rajasthan was one of our top picks as we started to venture to the northern part of the country.

Each street in Rajasthan is a heaven for art lovers. That’s why we have been to Rajasthan thrice so far, and we have still not completed the length and breadth of the state. As we kept going back, one thing became clear. The state did not just have forts, but some real magic could be found in the other heritage sites, be it Gaitore, Mandore gardens or just the streets of the cities.
